Doug's primary inspiration for his designs comes from his clients. Their lifestyles and aesthetic preferences form the foundation from which Doug's ideas can begin to take shape. Doug is the sole designer on each project. He Is known for producing designs very quickly, thus saving clients time and money as typically the subject properties are very expensive. Relying on a selected group of trusted builders, Doug works to ensure that each design is successfully carried out, visiting sites often to assess the progress of each home. The firm is unique because Doug's homes are not limited to any particular style. His portfolio encompasses Coastal Architecture, Farmhouse, Contemporary, Beachy Craftsman, Santa Barbara Spanish, Italianate, and French Provincial. Doug's knowledge of architectural history allows him to remain true to each style both inside and out.
